It would mean less if there were more good (eg. inspirational, or funny, or cool, etc.) ads shown rather than bad ones (bland eye-sores constanly yelling, "Buy me! I have a superior USP to the Competitors").
But then I work in advertising.
Then again this cartoon may work if it were actually true that people in general do hate advertising that much.
