Emiliana began her journey at Gapingvoid in December 2022 as a Designer. A self-proclaimed “Doer of All the Things,” her role evolved into Administrative Coordinator. Though her focus has shifted to internal operations, she remains part of the Creative Team.
Her creative life began in the performing arts, where she honed her skills as an actress, singer, and stagehand. This twelve-year stint equipped her with a diverse skill set, including public speaking, team building, project management, critical thinking, and experience design. Emiliana’s entrepreneurial spirit developed as the manager and creative director of a high-end stationery store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The experience sparked her curiosity for business, which led her to discover the wonders of accounting, finance, strategy, business analytics, and systems design.
Her tenure at Gapingvoid has been nothing short of transformative, further nurturing her curiosity and providing her with the opportunity to delve into these interests through hands-on learning. As Administrative Coordinator, Emiliana helped lead the effort to reimagine Gapingvoid’s onboarding process, creating the first iteration of the GV Learning Hub. This innovative platform serves as a vibrant community resource designed to enrich the knowledge and skills of new and seasoned G-Teamers alike. In collaboration with the leadership team, she remains steadfast in her commitment to driving projects that bolster operational efficiency and pave the way for sustainable growth.
Emiliana is on track to graduate with a Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University in August 2024.
