Something interesting for me is how much of what you say about the corporate / entrepreneurish world applies to teaching.
Chances are, if I ask teenagers to “write an essay about XYZ” they will go straight to Google and copypaste something. It’s my fault if they cheat: after all, designing tasks is supposed to be my job. So, if I want students to acquire something more than Google skills, I need to assign creative tasks. In other words, I need to do something that Google can’t.
