Like I said in IGNORE EVERYBODY, “When your dream become reality, they are no longer your dreams.” This drawing is all about that…

It is possible to fly whilst having your feet firmly planted on the ground.
@ Holte Harder than it looks to pull off, but yes, agreed.
As it happens, I’m on my way in a few minutes to the Verizon store to de-activate my Blackberry and re-activate my older, boring flip-phone–no browser, no apps, a crappy camera–just what I need!
For me, the BB has become much more of an intrusion than a productivity tool. I know plenty of people swear by their BB’s and iphones. If that’s what they need to get their job/life managed, so be it. I still have my Mac Book, etc, but I need SOME space/time when I am not wired in, and ignoring the BB when it chirps and buzzes isn’t working. Plus, about $75/month savings! After that, I’m going shopping for “wings”.
Chris, Bravo! You’re sounding a lot like me these days…
At my office, I actually close my laptop when I have the drawing pens out. I never used to do that; but I’m getting more militant about protecting myself from the incessant buzz of the Always-On culture.
Ah. If pigs could fly…
And when you can’t wake up from them (or realize them), they become nightmares…
I wonder if there are still people who remember what is was like before we had all these gadgets. The freedom of taking a long walk without people being able to find you wherever you go.
Pretty soon our wildest dreams will become nothing more that the rest of our boring lives… Indeed as soon as you’ve got it, it’s not worth it anymore.
your reality evolves, your dreams evolve, i don’t think anyone can afford for either to stand still
