My good friend, Loic Le Meur, just announced that Twihrl, the Twitter client he bought a few months ago, has gotten an upgrade.
I'm no tech blogger, but this got my attention:
Post your messages from Twhirl to Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Wordpress and a gazillion services with Ping.fm integration. The thing is, besides my blog and e-mail, Twitter is BY FAR the most important and efficient tool I use to keep connected with other people on the web. Any tool that makes Twitter more powerful and useful gets my attention, end of story. So Rock On to Loic and his team etc.Why keep your updates only for one social software while you could reach all your friends on all of them? Updating all the major social software is a great way of reconnecting with friends that are using only one--like the hundreds of millions on Facebook or MySpace for example! We have integrated Ping.fm goodness in Twhirl to achieve that goal, just get an account, add your services there and start talking to all your friends. You can even seamlessly send a video via Seesmic to all the social services you setup. Our friends at Ping.fm also added Seesmic recording from their update screen.
[Update:] Ben Metcalfe, who works for Loic, has a nice, short summary here.
the only downside, and it could just be for a very small percentage of the user audience, is that when it comes to those friends whom you're linked to across all social networks, their updates seem mechanical and boring as they're identical

I liked your cartoon on THE FUTURE BELONGS...
