I'm pleased to announce that this "software" cartoon, which a lot of people seem to like, is now available as a blogcard. Rock on.
Brilliant news - Hugh. Ordering now.
Posted by: Ben at May 25, 2007 10:56 AMWow. Are you reading my mind? In a non-geeky, non-marketing sort of way I have been thinking A LOT about concept this lately, because the concept is actually not a concept at all, but a very real thing that happens when people start to treat your blog like a personals ad. I even had to change my commenter's identity. I could not agree more. Questions I have asked myself are a) does software give users an excuse to act differently than they would in meatspace? b) isn't software just a means to an end? etc;

"It's not the software that's free; it's you."

That and "businesses are not run by IT departments..." were irresistible.
Posted by: Richard Hare at May 26, 2007 6:40 PMwell ... the cartoon is nice ... but it is not what the card seller does but what the possible streetcard buyer says ... it is not what the website shall do, but about what it does in the mind of the user ... you wanna know what it does in my mind?
