gary turner is looking...

garyt12346.jpg

My old pal Gary Turner, who was until recently the CEO of a large-ish UK software company, is currently looking for his next gig.

To quote his e-mail to me: "If you hear of anything remotely in my professional vicinity which is, briefly : a UK based SVP or VP, mini-CEO of a (probably small but aspiring) software business that could use someone with 18 years on the clock, and a track record I'm far too modest to talk about, then I'm all ears."

His LinkedIn profile is here. Any techies out there have any ideas?

Thinking of moving into recruitment Hugh?! Would be extremely interested to hear how many calls Gary gets as a result of blog entries, and how well-targetted the roles are

Good luck with that. Has Gary looked at his blog? A pretty small, washed out colour font that is very hard to read on that dense black background - but why strain to decipher what he has written? I usually follow your links, but couldn't be bothered with this one. Gary is probably expert, but is his expertise as inaccessible as his blog-thoughts?

Great that Gary caught up - one of the good guys...my blog tells it all...and he worked for an accounting software outfit?????

Hi Hugh,

Love your cartoons! I don't have any great leads for Gary, but I upgraded his LinkedIn account for three months so that he can work the network.

Cheers,

-Kay
