blogcards

image12345691.jpg

Been a while since I plugged my blogcards.

Oh well, I'm doing it now. Heh.

I'm told that in America, they seem to be EVERYWHERE these days, especially at geek events. Is that true?

I never really targeted them to the geek community per se. "Horny singles in New York bars" was more like it.

But one never controls where a virus will spread...

hmm.. never tried the whole personal cards thing. it always seemed like a cross between creepy and overly prepared (for night life). but these could be a good conversation topic.. hmmmm

Yes, they are.

Glad you reminded me - been and ordered - love them

I don't think personal cards are creepy at all. I made a set for myself (and my blog) when I moved home from London a few years ago. I'm on my third set now and am considering getting some of Hugh's cards for the fourth set.

Truth be told, I'm never sure that I'm actually edgy or bold enough for your cards. Maybe soon... maybe soon.

But personal cards are ALWAYS well received and better than scrounging for a paper everytime I meet someone new.

ha! while one has been, on occasion, a "horny single in a new york bar", one uses them for work,

Trying to order, but the online on the VISA card page gives a PHP error... for days now. Can't order. :-(
Emailed them, "chose cheque and call use". Yeh right. :-(

I actually recently discovered, to my immense pleasure, that one of my new business partners not only had a HughCard, but the same one I do.

Extraordinary.

I got some and I love them...the cards are a great conversation starter and it's always interesting to see who identifies them as Hugh's.

They certainly are a lot more memorable than a classic business card.

Morning Hugh!

FYI Rob Hyndman (comment herein) has an important technology law practice in Toronto, and it was he and his colleagues who put together last week's Toronto tech gathering that I previously mentioned (including reference to the Hugh Cards I received from Peter Dawson and Michael O'Connor Clarke that evening).

Rock on you wildly original and creative dude!
