sidebar gapingvoid widget

gapingwidget678.jpg

Michael Kamleitner has made a very cool sidebar gapingvoid widget for Wordpress [Get the plug-in here]. Thanks, Mike!

In an email, he says it:

* fetches the newest pic from your feed

* caches is locally

* displays it in any arbitrary size (max 400x225)

* links directly to your blog (in the headline and the image itself)

I like. You?

[NB: And let us not forget Kosso's Widget.]

Very nice.

Anyone out there feel like writing a version that works on TypePad?

I'll pimp it mercilessly if they do…

Nice. Am I just being dumb, but is Michael making this available for others to use too?

hi all!

thx hugh for posting!
this is my very first wordpress plugin, so the code is a bit messy... I'll try to clean it up a bit and will release it in a few hours :)
