Just did a high-res version of one of my old "Hughtrain" cartoons. Enjoy.

Hugh,

I heard you on the Gillmor gang. That was a great clash of value systems. Arrington is a "biz artist". Gillmor is a "biz philosopher". You're a pure artist. The major areas of agreement were about art. When you talked about business the value systems created some major interference.

Hugh,

You're spam filter is kiling my creativity... Here's some more from a post that got blocked 6 times despite my efforts to fix some offending word (or two).

The first time I heard some one mention the plumbing idea to be able to create art was Gore Vidal talking to Dick Cavett on his show in the late 60's, I think.

Hugh,

I'm getting closer to finding out what word can't pass your spam filter:

I just read (most) of the how to be creative page and there's some real wisdom in those words. Keep buiding on those ideas with more examples and thoughts. You could publish on some really high quality print stock. Artists buy works that help them focus and seem to offer a step by step plan.

I think I found it... I typed the word print (leaving out the i) and it mist have looked like a reference to prn

I would love to see a high-res version of "the market for something to believe in."

One of my favourite quotes of all time.

Few images would compel me to replace the beautiful Japanese women who grace my destkop wallpapers.

This is one of them.
