Somebody once asked Willie Nelson why his new songs weren't quite as [cough] good as his old ones.
"Because I wrote my old songs when I was cold and hungry," came his reply.
Ain't that the truth.

Posted by: Damien at September 24, 2005 2:37 PMDuly noted. Thanks.
Posted by: hugh macleod at September 24, 2005 6:17 PMWell, add to that that (one of) his latest albums is "Countryman" and it's.... well... "REGGAE" At least that's what it says on the album cover. I got this gem in a box of record promos, and it's basically your normal Willie with a Casio keyboard playing a crappy MIDI reggae line behind it.
It's awful. Someone take away his food again.
