The eternal option

failure is not an option

failure is not an option

Failure is terrifying.

But it’s an option. A good option.

Our brains know how to handle failure — it’s our egos that don’t like it.

We use failure as a learning mechanism, to examine and analyze experiences. According to a report published in Scientific American, the brain actually gets bigger while learning/failing — and though it eventually shrinks back to its regular size, the neural pathways created during the learning process remain.

Without failure, we don’t have a chance to examine ourselves.

Not failing means we didn’t take big enough risks.

Not failing is a sign of small thinking. Failure is positive risk-taking.
