I keep coming back to this and thinking ‘am I missing something here, there has got to be something so subtle that is going right over my head.’

How interesting that the assumption seems to be that this word is automatically negative. Curious. Must it always be so? I’m not always so sure. Does it also not hold the ambiguous possibility of a positive? Its increasing usage – and people’s interpretation of it – fascinates me.
