the energy of doubt

the energy of doubt

drive-and-doubt

What’s the difference between a decision and a choice?

In order to choose, we have to have options. We choose where to eat brunch and whether to go to yoga or Pilates. The question isn’t open-ended; the work has mostly been done.

Making a decision, however, is a thoughtful process. Deciding isn’t about choosing between options, but rather, how to thoughtfully assess your surroundings in order to come up with a solution to a problem.

And that thoughtfulness is where doubt creeps in.

Having doubts means you’re thinking things through; it’s how your mind presents all of the paths you can take to you.

Doubts aren’t meant to keep you from moving forward: they’re meant to keep you active in the decision-making process. The only way to get past them is to push.

Let your doubts fuel your movement.
