Easter is the most important religious holiday in the Christian calendar. And what is it about? It’s about Jesus dying, then springing back to life.
So “springing back to life” is a big deal to Western Civilization. Having the Angel of Death “Passover” us is a big deal to Western Civilization. It’s at the very foundation of who we are.
That’s why they call the season, “Spring”, too… after the Season of Death (i.e. Winter) passes (over).
And if the stuff in the news is to be believed, it looks like the death toll from our friend the Coronavirus is going to be much less than first predicted. Hospital beds are going unused. Ditto with the respirators. The crisis is beginning to recede, and the world springs back to life.
We are alive. It’s our job not to die. It’s our job to find new ways to come alive, by any means necessary.
Good luck to you.
