Risk, reward, and what it’s worth to you
How much are you willing to sacrifice for safety?
And vice versa. How much safety are you willing to give up to go do something meaningful?
To decide whether to take a risk, we need to identify both probability and significance.
Probability, because we’re not going to put it all on the line for something that definitely won’t work.
And significance, because even if it does work — that doesn’t matter if the cause doesn’t matter.
