Kevin has been partnering with people toward their fullest potential for over 20 years and joined the Gapingvoid team in 2022 to do just that with organizations and teams.
Prior to joining the GV team, Kevin was an educational leader and school designer, who has led, run, founded, developed, and built schools of innovation in both the U.S. and overseas. He has served on steering committees and think tanks for organizations such as the Fund for Teachers, the CSU School Leadership Institute, the Colorado Education Initiative, and National Geographic Education. He has presented nationally on fostering transformational communities of learning and improvement science with Expeditionary Learning and the Carnegie Foundation for Improvement in Education.
Kevin holds an M.S. in Instructional Design and a B.S. in Natural Science, educator, and administration licenses, and currently serves on the board of an international non-profit serving a community in Western Rwanda. Because of (or despite, perhaps) these experiences, he often reflects on the fact that no matter the context, real learning comes through tinkering with worthwhile problems with authentic people with a shared hope. He loves to coach, play guitar, flyfish, and backpack into the wilderness with his family.
