Laura is a founding member and Creative Director of Gapingvoid, with over 15 years of product marketing (B2B & B2C), business innovation, strategy, event organization and management. Laura is responsible for creating and managing the retail verticals and physical installations, including product development, curation, space planning, design and installation of both physical and digital works.
Laura holds a degree in Business Management from Royal Holloway University of London, it was creating the retail side of gapingvoid completely from scratch that taught her the expertise she has today. She now manages all online retail business operations, including staff management, and oversees production quality from inception to curation. Laura has the highest attention to detail and can visually strategize and execute any space from begin to end.
She has organized art exhibits during Art Basel of over 300 pieces in 2013 and 2014. She has organized pop-up galleries at Ebay HQ, VMware, Rackspace and many others, featuring works of varying mediums and sizes for the highest physical impact to the viewer.
Laura also art directs the digital and physical products including eventual installations involved in culture consulting engagements and event theming. She has worked on projects for Microsoft, TechCrunch, Acumen, Roche, SXSWInteractive, NACE, and over 40 large enterprise engagements. Event production includes planning physical spaces and art direction on all visual designs, artworks and curation of event SWAG.
Laura was born in Milan, grew up in London and now lives in Miami Beach with her husband and son.
