[Go to Acteva.com here for full details and registration.]
Dinner will be held at Osha Thai Restaurant [149 2nd St., between Mission & Howard] from 7:30-9:30pm on Tuesday 10/30.
Ticket Cost covers food only. Drinks will be sold at the bar, CASH ONLY.
Buffet Style Dinner Menu Includes:
Vegetarian Crispy Rolls
Beef Panang Curry
Tofu Vegetarian Combination
Thai Spicy Pan Fried Noodles Chicken
Everybody pays $37.00 in advance [at the Acteva link] to cover the food, then it’s a cash bar. Pretty standard stuff. It should be a fun evening. I’m inviting all my friends who are in town. Rock on.
[Update: Oren blogged the event as well.]
I can certainly attest to the quality of Osha’s food, it is fantastic stuff. Hopefully I’ll see you there 🙂
been reading for awhile and never seen one of these east coast. did i miss it? or was it just in NYC? come to Boston, please. 🙂
Errrr I hope that Volcanic Beef is not Volcanic Beef a’ la Pompeii.
You’re killing me, Hugh darling.
I’m so darn hungry.
At least you didn’t post photos.
Have a great time!
Being the crusty old moany me, I just wanted to, well, moan, about $37 for Osha Thai??!?!??!
Sofia and I go there all the time and our bill never comes to $37! And that’s for *two* people, with drinks! It’s a $8-$10 per entree kinda place!
Man, I’ll pays the money and takes the choices to see you Hugh – but miffed that the ‘value’ of seeing you is going into Osha Thai’s pocket unnecessarily.
Once again, I realize I am in the wrong business… I need to get out of this stupid and miss-judged decision to be a technology and social media consultant and I need start a restaurant instead. Much more profitable.
I’m still acclimatized to London prices, Ben, so I’m not complaining. Secondly, hiring out a restaurant is generally more expensive than just sitting down for two…
