[This is just a rumor at the moment...]
[Bonus Link] Great post on MicroBranding from Johnnie Moore:
"It's all an experiment."My own take on microbranding is to realise that small stuff matters. Too many brands try to bash us over the head with their fixed propositions, values statements, idealised lifestyles etc etc. (And we're just their customers, think what it's like for people who work there.)
Given that I'm geeky enough to be more excited about this than I would be about my birthday the following week, I hope that means I'd be of sufficient geek status to attend should said dinner become more than a rumor...
Posted by: James Parr at November 19, 2007 1:57 PMYes please! Been needing to geek out for some time.
Posted by: James at November 19, 2007 3:53 PMI know what you mean James, very exciting, looking forward to more info to come
@James Parr - snap! My birthday is also the following week, and I'm also more excited at the prospect of this!
If this does materialise an invite would be a very welcome early birthday pressie...
Posted by: Jonathan Mulholland at November 19, 2007 5:11 PMRumor?

Posted by: monkeyleader at November 20, 2007 1:56 PMI love the quote. There is entirely too much shit for the consumer to wade through. By the time I'm standing chest-deep in it, I want to have a company that I can look in the eye (literally) as it stands in the crap with me. Life's messy - now which company's going to get in there with me and start shovelling our way out?

Posted by: Benjamin at November 23, 2007 6:01 PMWoah! The 7th? I might actually be in London at the same time as something happens! Woohoo!
On the other hand, I might be traveling back North again that night. Which would figure.
