Well....smarter has many interpretations. I do believe that rich and complex interactions build more neural networks ( scientific research proves that the brain is not static and continue to develop through experiences and specific learning activities that are non-repetitive)
So, if you are interacting with the internet's content and people in it, it follows that you are building richer and complex neural networks. However...if you are simply a passive observer (like watching TV) then I don't think the neural networks of your brain are grown!
