My fave Blaugh comic yet. Congrats to Fitz & Pirillo.
[Meanwhile:] Poor Pirillo had a setback:
One thing is certain: my trust in the future of our industry (and the alleged transparency of the blogosphere) is at an all-time low.Yep. It's no longer about "The Sphere". It's now about people. Watch your back/wallet etc.
But that day was inevitable...

Chris' post reminds me or the cryptic BS people (including myself) used to post on our livejournal accounts in high school.
Hugh, I get a kick out of you linking to Pirillo's post because I know you are a fan of starting a good conversation. (Inside jokes, and secrets hinder a good conversation)
Posted by: Matt Propst at November 10, 2006 6:34 AMYeah, this comic really had nothing to do with the blogosphere, but I'm getting married soon... and it was just too good a gag to pass up. :)
Posted by: Chris Pirillo at November 10, 2006 8:20 AMHugh, good to see you again at the londongirlgeekdinner last week.
You're absolutely right, this is a top comic. In fact, my wife happens to be hosting the school class mum's coffee morning today - so I enlarged and printed the comic out & put it up in a prominent position. I think you have to introduce a bit of danger into your life ;-)
Other one I saw yesterday was a definition of marriage, "when 2 people join together to make one boring person". lol
Posted by: John Wilson at November 10, 2006 9:47 AMTransparency and credibility of the blogosphere is being wrecked by PayPerPost and WOMMA.
Word of mouth, or word of blog, is, by definition, spontaneous, unpaid, non-incentivized, uncoached, uncompensated personal opinion passed from one person to another, in a context of trust and unprompted sincerity.
