Hurrah for global micoromedia: Dave Snowden over in Singapore has the gapingvoid widget on his blog. Thanks, Dave!
I love the internet. I love watching stuff spread all over the world, like a global virus. It's cartoons in my case, but it could be anything. Which makes the whole global microbrand thing so damn interesting.
We live in wonderfully amazing times, no?

The Gaping Void gapingwidget now appears on my Blog... Yahoo!!
Posted by: Sheamus at October 14, 2006 5:19 PMHugh, this is an outstanding site. Your cartoons are beyond peer, and fuckin hilarious if I'm allowed to say so with swear words.
You've also provided invaluable support to anyone out there who's trying to live creatively. While I already understood most of what your "How To Be Creative" column focused on, it was damn sure validating to hear somebody else say it. So thank you.
Posted by: Joe Valdez at October 15, 2006 8:43 AMI just appreciate that you allow us to use the cartoons Hugh - its a gift to the blogosphere. I gather we have a mutual friend in Euan Semple so we may even get to meet physically at some time

Posted by: snwbdrhoon at October 16, 2006 3:36 PMDoesn't this post misrepresent slightly? Dave's from the UK, temporarily in Singapore to write a book. Although he has customers over there.
Now if Mr Tan or Miss Ng was taking your feed, I'd be impressed.
Posted by: David Tebbutt at October 18, 2006 9:21 AMHi there,
thanks for the widget! Great work. A very good way to start the day with these funny but also very true scenes.
Thanks again!
Dirk
Posted by: Dirk at October 18, 2006 9:42 AMThanks to every widget-user who left a comment.
Good point, David. I saw the widget on on Indonesian blog the other day [the guy was Indonesian, and his blog was written from Indonesia]... I suppose I could've blogged that instead, but my point would have been the same.
It wasn't that long ago when mail took six weeks to reach Singapore....
Posted by: Hugh MacLeod at October 18, 2006 10:26 AMHa, it resides on my blog as well ... but my blog is currently dormant. What with me travelling without a scanner.
