I'm not a religious person (more of a bokononist if anyting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokononism )
However - your drawing made me think of a book by Jacob Needleman called "Money & the Meaning of Life." His thesis is that incredible things happen where the spiritual and the profane intersect. This is why aboriginal tribes would inscribe sacred symbols on everyday items like water bowls.
Needleman postulates that in our age Money is where that intersection takes place. It's a very intersting book.
