Posted by hugh macleod at April 17, 2006 6:51 PM | TrackBackI've found that in consulting, when I'm charging less per intervention than the monthly salary of the person I'm pitching to, I'm treated like a low-level employee. If I'm charging more, I'm treated with respect. The trick to consulting happiness is to interpret the clues and make an accurate guess as to the person's salary.
