[Bonus Link:] So perhaps Dave Winer nailed the future of media in two short sentences:

1. Aggregation can now be customized, and it can be done by machine.

2. Bundling is not going to be a way to make a living in the future.

It's wierd talking about "the future of anything", when said future has already arrived.
