*sigh* aren't tablets the most wonderful invention ever? mine's not a tablet pc, but it's a tablet nonetheless. that with corel painter IX...mm mm mm.

dear me - boys with new toys ... at the moment it gives the cartoons a "naive" look - that might go as you get more familiar with the instrument.

Like the switch from metal type to digital, the new stuff is good, but the old stuff had literal depth, viz. where your pen created ink on the paper at mildly varying widths (in the case of a ball-point, ink in the paper). Digital is good, and it is fast, but there’s just that added element of personality with pen and paper. Maybe this is a time for “regular Gapingvoid”, which features digitally produced cartoons; and ‘The Gapingvoid MacLeod Collection”, more exclusive images done in ink that appear only on products …
