paris update

Paris still rocks.

The Parisians have this quality not found in the English speaking world: the ability to be both really chic and really laid back at the same time. In New York, LA, London, it's usually one or the other. Teeth-grinding fashionistas or grungy hippies. Not so in Paris. Everyone is beautiful. Everything is demain, demain ('tomorrow, tomorrow'). I still can't get used to it.

The bars are open till 6 or 7 here. And most people remain sober in spite of that. As a half-Scot I find that utterly unbelievable.

Paris lacks the intensity of New York or London. Everyone walks slowly. It's hard for me to reconcile the idea of a world-class city being so sleepy.

Again, still can't used to it.

Me? I have a few projects I'm working on. Will go public later this week, maybe.

Your blog is very nice, i like it pretty much. You're so creative, creativity was a right theme for you to write a book :)
I drew on the back of cards too, but now i just use a notebook :)
